The Story Behind Strength Over Addiction

Pete’s journey through addiction, brokenness, faith, and transformation became the foundation for a mission to help other men find freedom, purpose, and hope.

What Felt Like the End Became the Beginning

This wasn’t just a story of struggle — it became a story of restoration.
What once felt like the end became the beginning of something meaningful.
Through faith, honesty, and the decision to change, a new path forward was created — not just for one life, but for others searching for the same hope.

Addiction convinced me my life was beyond repair. God showed me my pain could become purpose.

A Journey Through Addiction and Redemption

For many years, Pete struggled with alcohol addiction, anxiety, depression, and a deep loss of identity. Addiction damaged relationships, broke trust, and affected the people closest to him. What once seemed like an escape became a cycle that controlled every area of life.

But his story did not end there. Through surrender to God, honesty, and a willingness to change, Pete began walking toward freedom. Recovery became more than leaving addiction behind — it became the restoration of identity, purpose, and direction.
Today, Pete believes his life was preserved on purpose so his story could help other men know they are not too far gone.
